Advanced Schools and Large Buildings Radon Measurement Course

Date: May 29-30, 2019
Location: Knoxville, TN
Course Details: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Wednesday, 8 a.m. to noon - Thursday
   Advanced Schools and Large Buildings Radon Measurement Course ($240/$120 for TN residents)
   This is a 12 hour continuing education course for radon measurement professionals and environmental consultants. It would also be fundamental for school district facility personnel who plan to conduct their own measurement programs. This accelerated one-day course focuses on the skills you need to understand the major factors unique to radon measurement in schools and large buildings. The goal of the course is to help you design and manage radon measurement projects in schools and large buildings. Topics include test reparation, determining test locations, test procedures, required measurement conditions, quality control and test documentation. The course is built around the new American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard, Protocols for Conducting Radon and Radon decay Product Measurements in Schools and Large Buildings

Date: May 30-31, 2019
Location: Knoxville, TN
Course Details: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
   Advanced Schools and Large Buildings Radon Mitigation Course ($240/$120 for TN residents)
   This 12 hour continuing education course is for the radon mitigation professional and environmental consultant. It would also be fundamental for school district facility personnel who plan to oversee their own mitigation programs. This accelerated one-and-a-half-day course addresses growing demand for radon control in large buildings including schools. The focus is on skills you’ll need to understand the major factors unique to radon dynamics and mitigation in large nonresidential buildings. The course emphasis is the ANSI/AARST standards on school and large buildings radon mitigation but is also thought provoking and interactive.

   This 24 hour continuing education course combines the 12-hour courses described above. The course is built around the new American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard, Protocols for Conducting Radon and Radon decay Product Measurements in Schools and Large Buildings and emphasizes is the ANSI/AARST standards on school and large buildings radon mitigation. It would be fundamental for school district facility personnel who plan to conduct their own measurement and mitigation programs as well as radon professionals and environmental consultants. This accelerated three-day course addresses growing demand for radon measurement and control in large buildings including schools. The focus is on skills you’ll need to understand the major factors unique to radon dynamics, measurement, and mitigation in large nonresidential buildings.
