     | Social Media for Radon Small Business - A two-hour course on promoting your small radon business through email marketing and social media. This course will demonstrate how to create free, eye-appealing graphics to grab the attention of a targeted audience. With attendee participation and by completing worksheets throughout the course, you will walk away with ready-made outreach examples, a calendar of focus-areas for the next year, and confidence to create your own graphics to make your small business stand out from the rest. 2 hrs CE
      9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Central User-Friendly QC Measurement Analysis - A two hour course reviewing the basics associated with QC measurement collection and KSU Radon Chamber operations. The course will provide example analysis and control chart development for duplicate, blank, and spike QC measurements. The course will discuss the use of those control charts to monitor the accuracy and reliability of the measurements you make for your clients. The course will also reflect on the experiences of the KSU Radon Chamber and how those experiences might impact the radon industry. 2 hrs CE
       Noon - 4 p.m. Central | Fan Selection Diagnostics Case Studies and AARST Mitigation Checklist - This four hour course covers key steps in fan selection through diagnostics using examples and case studies and then reviews the key items of system installation identified in the new AARST mitigation inspection checklist with example photos of compliant and non-compliant conditions. 4 hrs CE

    Measurement Refresher Course (instructions)

    Course is open for 30 days upon registration. This is a 16 hour CE course which covers the entire spectrum of radon measurements, from radon physics to radon in water. It is a great refresher for people who need the entire 16 hours of CE for re-certification. Do you remember your QA/QC requirements? Do you remember all the fine points of device placement? Those, and other things you learned in your initial measurement training are all in here. Course includes a manual (paper or CD) and tests that you return to us for grading.

    Radon Basics for the Home Inspector (instructions)

    Course is open for 30 days upon registration. This is an excellent 8 hour CE course for home inspectors for their 8 hours of Category I CE. It features the portions of the initial radon measurement training course which are most appropriate for home inspectors, focusing on the practical side of radon testing. It includes a nice section on how to inspect an existing radon mitigation system so that you can assure your client that the mitigation system meets the ANSI 2121 requirements.

    Radon Measurement Device Refresher (instructions)

    Course is open for 30 days upon registration. This 8 hour CE course focuses on the radon devices and brings back to your attention all the idiosyncrasies of each device; optimal deployment period, minimum detectable levels, precision, accuracy, bias and the technology of how the radiation is measured.

    Radon in Water Refresher (instructions)

    Course is open for 30 days upon registration. Here is the most complete four (4) hour CE course for the measurement and mitigation of radon in water. The sampling methodology is discussed in detail. However, all of the various types of mitigation systems, along with their annual operating costs and radon collection efficiency are discussed.

    Radon Physics Refresher (instructions)

    Course is open for 30 days upon registration. For you science-types out there, Dr. Burkhart reviews the radiation physics that you learned to love when you took your first measurement course. Also included are sections on the health effects of radon, including some of the more recent case-control study results and the cancer predictions from the European and the North American combined meta-studies.

    Radon Measurement Course

    Radon Resistant New Construction

    The course focuses on understanding the basics of radon gas, the national guidelines for designing and installing radon mitigation systems in new residential buildings, and other codes pertaining to radon-resistant new construction.

    Completion of this course and subsequent completion of the RRNC Advanced Workbook qualifies for NRPP's Advanced Certificate in RRNC (must currently have NRPP certification).
