Multi-Family Large Building Measurement | 8 hrs | Zoom Meeting | September 5, 2024 | 8am-5pm Central |$160

    This is an 8 hour continuing education course for radon measurement professionals. The demand for professionals in this area has been fueled by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) mortgage requirements for multifamily property purchase refinancing, or rehabilitation. The HUD requirements include radon testing of multifamily buildings according to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard on multifamily buildings radon measurement. This course focuses on the ANSI/AARST MA-MFLB-2023 standard.

MAH Standards Overview | 4 hrs | Zoom Meeting | October 1, 2024 | 8am-noon Central  $80

    This four-hour course provides an overview of the ANSI-AARST Standards consortium and the process by which standards are developed and updated. It will review all current standards and share how to access them and the resources available to the public and industry. The status of current public review will be presented for each standard currently undergoing harmonization or revision, along with how to comment in that process. The course will close with a review of the most important measurement standards and how to comply with the current guidance and requirements.
